2. General Terms and conditions of use of the website and services offered.

By using the website fifo.lu, you fully accept the Terms and Conditions described below. These Terms and Conditions of use may be amended or augmented at any time, thus users of the site fifo.lu are advised to check them regularly.

Users can normally access this site at any time. However, FI&FO may decide to interrupt access to carry out technical maintenance, in which case it shall make the effort to previously notify the users of the date and time of the intervention.

The site fifo.lu is regularly updated by Amandine Douzenel. Similarly, legal mentions may be amended at any time: they are binding on the user, who is therefore advised to check them as often as possible.

The purpose of the Site fifo.lu is to provide information regarding the whole activities of the company.

5. Intellectual propriety and Counterfeiting.

FI&FO is the owner of the intellectual propriety rights or hold the rights to use all the elements that can be accessed on the site, namely the text, images, graphics, logo, icons, sounds and software.

Any reproduction or representation, modification, publication, adaptation in whole or in part, by any means or process is explicitly prohibited, unless you get a prior written consent of FI&FO.

Any exploitation of the website or one of the elements displayed on it without our explicit prior authorization shall be considered as constituting a counterfeit and punished under criminal law.

6. Limitations of liability.

FI&FO is not liable for any direct or indirect damage to the user’s equipment when accessing the website fifo.lu, either due to using hardware that does not meet the specifications stated at the point 4, or due to the appearance of a bug or of an incompatibility.

FI&FO shall in no case be liable for any indirect damage (for example: a loss of market or loss of an opportunity) resulting from the use of the website fifo.lu.

Interactive zones (possibility to ask questions in the contact area) are available to users. FI&FO reserves the right to remove, without prior notice, any content registered in this zone which violates the legislation in force in Luxembourg, including the provisions on data protection. If necessary, FI&FO reserves the possibility to invoke the civil liability and/or criminal liability of the user, notably in case of racist, offensive, defamatory, or pornographic message, regardless of the medium (text, photograph…)

7. Management of personal data.

In Luxembourg, personal data is protected in accordance with the law amended on August 2 2002 relating to the protection of people against the processing of personal data.

When using the website fifo.lu, the URL of intermediate links by which the user gets access to the website fifo.lu, the user’s access provider, the user’s IP address may be collected.

In any case, FI&FO will only collect the personal data relating to the user for the need of certain services proposed on the website fifo.lu. The user provides this information in full knowledge of the considerations involved, notably when he/she enters himself/herself the information. The user of the website fifo.lu will be informed of whether he/she is obliged to provide this information.

The website fifo.lu contains a number of links hypertexts to other Internet sites, set up with the authorization of FI&FO. However, since FI&FO is not able to check the content of the sites visited in this way, it shall accept no liability in this regard.

For Internet Explorer: Tab Tools (a pictogram showing the gear/wheel icon in the upper right) / Internet Options Click on “Privacy” and choose to block all the cookies. Click on “OK” to confirm.

For Firefox: at the top of the browser window, click on the button Firefox, then go to the tab Options. Click on the Tab Privacy.

To set the conservation rules…, use Custom Settings for History. Finally, uncheck … to deactivate cookies

For Safari, at the upper right of the browser, click on the upper right corner of your browser the pictogram of Menu (symbolized by a gear/wheel). Choose Settings. Click on Show advanced settings. In the section Privacy, click on Settings. In the section “Cookies”, you can block the cookies.

For Chrome: At the upper right of the browser, click on the pictogram menu (symbolized by three horizontal lines).  Choose Settings. Click on Show advanced settings. In the section “Privacy”, click on Preference. In the tab “Privacy”, you can block cookies.

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction.

Any disputes relating to the use of the website fifo.lu will be governed by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and will be referred to the competent of District Courts of Luxembourg.
